Andrew Ventimiglia is a PhD candidate in the Cultural Studies Graduate Group. He has a MA in Cinema Studies and a Certificate from the Culture and Media Program at New York University. He was curator and director of the Davis Feminist Film Festival (2012-13), and his work on religion has appeared in the online project Frequencies: A Collaborative Genealogy of Spirituality. With assistance from the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship Foundation and its Charlotte W. Newcombe Dissertation Fellowship, he is currently completing a dissertation exploring the intersection of religion and intellectual property law in the American spiritual marketplace.
As a graduate fellow for the Center for Science and Innovation Studies, Andrew helps to organize lectures and conferences as well as maintain the CSIS website.
